Although it's been a while since my journey to Paris (seven years), I still remember the gorgeous city like it was yesterday. Despite the fact my stay was only one day, I still recall all the dazzling landmarks. From the medieval streets to Disneyland, the place is truely magnificent.
The Eiffel Tower
What do you think of when you say Paris? The Eiffel Tower? I thought so (if not, what did you think of?). I had to start off this blog with the famous skyscraper. On my trip to Paris, I was lucky enough to go up the Eiffel Tower. The view was absolutely splendid. I still remember looking down at the marvelous city from above. When up there, challenge yourself to spot some popular landmarks, such as the Lourve, the Arc de Triomphe and much more. If you are planning on going, I would recommend booking the tickets online before your journey. But this landmark isn't perfect. I personally, had to wait from morning to noon (about five hours) just to get inside the building, and wait even more to take some Instagram-worthy pictures (worth it).

The Champs-Élysées
One of the most famous streets and in Europe, the Champs-Élysées, tops the list of most beautiful avenues in the world, and is visited by hundreds of tourists every year. At the end of the road, lies the popular, Arc de Thriompe. Just a walk down the street cam fill your photo album - and empty your wallet. Famous brands such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier can be spotted on the street. And - if you're lucky - watch one of the festivals and dances.

Pont des arts
Pont des arts is a bridge that crosses the River Seine. But it's not your ordinary bridge. Since late 2008, tourists have been attaching padlocks, or in this case, love locks, and thousands of keys sunk at the bottem of the river, as a sign of eternal love. If you took a look at the bridge a few years ago, it would covered in loads of love locks, including one that belongs to my parents. But recently (by recently I mean 2015), the locks were replaced by padlock-themed graffiti, due to the 45 tonnes of love locks weighing the bridge down.

The Louvre
The Louvre is the number one most famous and most visited museum in the world, with up to 8 million tourists each year. This popularity comes partly from, the well-known, Mona Lisa. Other famous drawings and statues include the Venus de Milo, Oath of Horatii and more. If you want to visit the museum, book tickets beforehand, as queues can keep you waiting all day.

Disneyland
Even though I haven't been to Disneyland Paris (or any Disneyland for that matter), I have heard a thing or two about the magical place. Judging my friends who have went, here are some recommendations. First of all, definitely get fast track. Apparently the lines are huge, and can keep you waiting for a few hours. The same goes for meeting the Disney characters, however no fast track for them (obviously). If you don't get fast track, just remember the place is least crowded in the morning. And the recommended stay is two days and staying at the Disneyland Hotel is quite a good deal.
