Çeşme, Turkey

Çeşme is a gorgeous beach town on the west tip of Turkey, on the Aegean Sea. Since my visit last summer, I can't wait to go back.

Seashores

Çeşme is packed with it's seashores and beaches. The crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea create a breathtaking coastline, and a perfect place to swim. During my last visit, my favorite beach was definitely Pirlanta Plaji (Diamond Beach) on the Northern side of town. I liked it because of it's calm and warm waters. If you're looking for a more popular and music-on-full-volume place, I would recommend Fly-Inn. Fly-Inn and nearby beaches are usually visited by celebrities around the country.

Hotels

Throughout my stay, I stayed at a small boutique hotel, owned by a local family. Staying in places like that meant we were exploring all day. It was more of an unplanned trip. If you want more of a luxury stay, there are always fancy hotels throughout the town. If you stay at a small hotel like I did, you can save a lot of money and spend it on other luxuries around the town.

Activities

There are tons of wonderful activities to do scattered through the town, ranging from jet skiing to simply taking a walk through Alacati (the downtown area). Talking about Alacati, it is a great place to dine, shop or, as I said earlier, simply take a walk. For the thrill-seekers, there are millions of water sports, such as flyboarding, donut rides, aqua biking, banana boating and much more. Or just a day of sightseeing the beautiful town.
